A Bold Aesthetic for Underground Electronic Music Culture

Alienação is a Portuguese record label and event promoter dedicated to electronic music. Between 2017 and 2022, the brand organized underground electronic music events, creating immersive audiovisual experiences that merged sound, space, and design.

For these events, a strong and disruptive visual identity was developed, reflecting the energy and intensity of the techno and electronic music scene. The design strategy combined bold typography, experimental graphics, and dark, atmospheric visuals, aligning with the raw, industrial aesthetic of the underground clubbing culture.

The event posters and promotional materials became an integral part of Alienação’s identity, helping establish the brand as a key player in Portugal’s electronic music scene. By translating the pulse of the music into striking visual compositions, the design not only attracted audiences but also reinforced the brand’s avant-garde positioning in the industry.
